Write for CISO AI
CISO AI publishes analysis for people who run security and risk: what a development means, who it affects and what to do about it. If you have an argument worth making to that audience, you can publish it here under your own name.
You sign in with your email. There is no password and no fee to apply.
How it works
- Apply once. Tell us who you are and anything that could be a conflict of interest. We read every application.
- Write in the browser. Once approved, you draft, add images and preview the piece exactly as readers will see it.
- Submit for review. We read each piece before it goes live. We may ask for changes, and we may decline a piece.
- Published. It appears under your name at its own address, on your publisher page and in the analysis index, with comments open.
How pieces are labelled
Every piece by an outside publisher carries a label on the page, so a reader always knows whose view they are reading.
- Contributor: independent writing by a practitioner, researcher or analyst.
- Sponsored: anything paid for, and anything a vendor writes about a market it sells into. Links in sponsored pieces are marked as sponsored.
We decide the label when we approve you, and we can change it.
Guidelines
By applying you agree to these. Version 2026-10-14.
- Your own work. You wrote it, or you have the right to publish it, and you say so if it has appeared elsewhere. You keep copyright and give CISO AI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display and share it on this site and in our channels, for as long as it is up.
- Accurate and sourced. Link the sources for your facts and quotes. Say when something is your opinion. Do not publish anything you know to be false.
- Fair to people and companies. Criticise decisions and products, not people. Do not publish anything defamatory, confidential, or that you obtained without permission, including client names, findings or data from engagements.
- Disclose interests. Tell us about any commercial relationship with a company you write about. Product pitches are sponsored content and are labelled as such.
- Images you can use. Upload only images you made or have the right to publish.
- AI-assisted writing. You can use tools to help, but you are the author and answerable for every sentence.
- Our editorial call. We may edit for clarity, length, style and accuracy, decline a piece, or remove a published one, and we may suspend an account that breaks these guidelines. Ask us to remove your piece and we will.
