About the role

Tracksuit exists to help marketers prove their brand building is working. We give teams the data they need to make smarter decisions, convince stakeholders, defend budgets, and track their progress. The brand tracking industry is dominated by 100-page reports, static data and big price-tags. We're doing things differently by being built for the modern marketer: always-on, accessible, and approachable.

We're now tracking more than 1,000 brands across 25 countries globally. With offices in Auckland, Sydney, London and New York City, we're scaling fast with a brilliant team of collaborative and ambitious humans. Our culture is defined by "high care, high performance". We strive to be the best and look after each other while we do it.

Are you our next Sales Development Representative in New York?

You will be the first human a lot of great brands hear from at Tracksuit. That's a big deal, and we treat it that way.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you start the conversations that grow our pipeline. You research who matters, reach out in a way that earns a reply, and book meetings for our Account Executives. We use AI tools and signals to work out who to contact and when, so the busywork shrinks and the thinking is yours.

What you'll do

  • Build and refine lead lists for new business using AI tools and signals

  • Write sequences and messages that people want to reply to

  • Reach out by email, phone and LinkedIn

  • Book qualified meetings and create deals for our Account Executives

  • Work with Account Executives to plan how we approach their key accounts

  • Share what you learn about buyers and the market, and help us get better at outbound

  • Keep our records clean, so everyone can see what is working

What we're looking for

We care most about how you work. We'd love to see

  • A self-starter, someone who gets going without waiting to be told

  • A highly organized, structured thinker, who can take a huge task or a long list and know where to start

  • Ambition about results, and a high standard for your own work

  • Real experience starting conversations with people you don't know

  • Experience using a CRM (desirable but not essential)

  • Typically 1 to 2 years in a sales development, business development or similar role, ideally in SaaS, MarTech, advertising or media (a guide, not a hard line, we care most about what you've done)

  • Kind, curious and clear communication, in writing and out loud

Bonus points if you love brands, or know marketing or MarTech.

Why join us at Tracksuit?

  • A front-row seat. You'll talk with marketing teams at growing brands who are doing interesting things.

  • A product with a point of view. We're changing how brands get tracked.

  • Coaching and a path. Learn from great salespeople, with room to grow into an Account Executive, or into other teams like agency and customer.

  • A high-performing team that likes to win together.

🐾 FYI - We’re pet-friendly in principle and practice — with the occasional four-legged visitor adding to the charm, not the chaos.

We are committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace — a place where we can each be ourselves and do the best work of our lives. Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet some of the requirements, women and under-represented groups of candidates tend to only apply when they meet every requirement. If you think you have what it takes but don’t necessarily tick every requirement on this job description, please get in touch and apply.
