SOCRadar Now Turns Security Incidents into Freshdesk Tickets Automatically
SOCRadar has released an integration that sends security incidents into Freshdesk, the help desk platform many support and IT teams already use. According to the vendor, new incidents are pulled every five minutes and opened as Freshdesk tickets tagged SOCRadar. The aim is to fix a common gap: security findings often sit in a separate console watched by one or two people, with no ticket, no assignment and no record of who did what.
SOCRadar describes the manual step of creating tickets as the point where incidents stall. Critical findings can wait behind whoever happens to be looking at the console, lower-severity items may never get a ticket, and answering an auditor's question can mean checking two systems that were never reconciled. Even when tickets are created by hand, the ticket and the incident can drift apart, with one marked resolved while the other stays open.
The integration is built on SOCRadar's incident workflow, which groups validated findings from Cyber Threat Intelligence, Brand Protection and External Attack Surface Management into incidents with a severity and a lifecycle status. Setup involves entering a SOCRadar company ID and API key, then choosing which severities and statuses become tickets. The integration is live on the Freshworks Marketplace, verified by Freshworks, and supports both Freshdesk and Freshdesk Omni.
