Settra Ransomware Group Claims Australian Professional Services Firm Pacific ABS on Its Leak Site
A ransomware group known as Settra has added pacificabs.com, a professional services firm, to its dark web leak site. This is an unverified claim made by criminals, and ransomware.live, the public tracker that spotted the listing, notes that groups sometimes name companies they never actually breached or get details wrong.
At this stage there is no confirmation from Pacific ABS that any breach has occurred. The listing was posted by the group in late August 2026 and picked up by the tracker in mid-September 2026. No verified details about the nature or scale of any alleged data have been established.
Businesses in the professional services sector should treat this as a reminder that leak site listings, while unverified, are often used as pressure tactics during extortion attempts and can still signal real compromise in some cases.
