Six attackers reported in October 2026 all used AI. Four got in with weak or stolen passwords: the n0n ransomware operator, Storm-0940, Vapor Panda and GOLD OGRE. One, a suspected China-nexus actor, used an unpatched firewall. North Korean groups used tailored lures aimed at people. AI changed the speed; the doors are familiar ones.
